International Taste Fest
On November 28, 2025, The 3rd Edition of the International Taste Fest took place at Titu Maiorescu University . International Taste Fest is a multicultural festival dedicated to gastronomy, diversity, and intercultural dialogue, initiated and organized by Titu Maiorescu University as part of its academic internationalization process.
The event was organized by the Department of International Relations in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Dental Medicine, and the Faculty of Education Sciences, Communication and International Relations, through the Preparatory Year of Romanian Language, and was primarily addressed to first-year students. The objective of the Festival is to disseminate ERASMUS+ results and to support mobility opportunities. Senior international students also took part in the organization, coordinating the gastronomic presentations and cultural moments.
The Festival featured six international stands and provided a space for cultural and culinary diversity. The six stands showcased traditional dishes, cultural elements, and symbols of the represented countries:
Afghanistan – Iran
Pakistan – Australia
The Levant (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan)
Algeria
Türkiye – Nigeria
Italy – Germany (Europe)
Participants had the opportunity to taste a wide variety of dishes, from Middle Eastern, African, and European recipes to traditional Romanian foods presented during the cultural performances of the Preparatory Year students.
The event was honored by the presence of an official delegation from the Embassy of Algeria in Bucharest, represented by Mrs. Med Bouazila Adula, Financial Officer, and Mrs. El-Hadj-Mimoune Kawther, Cultural Officer. Their presence brought a diplomatic dimension to the festival, strengthening cooperation between Titu Maiorescu University and international communities in Romania.
In a vibrant atmosphere, the 2025 International Taste Fest, created a multicultural setting enriched with a variety of artistic and cultural elements: traditional costumes, music and dance performances, culinary presentations, and social activities. International students offered dance demonstrations, artistic moments, and cultural presentations, contributing to a memorable multicultural experience.
