Technical specifications of the Microsoft Teams platform

1. Operating systems:

The Microsoft Teams application is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions for the following operating systems:

• Windows 8.1 or later versions
• ARM64 for Windows 10 on ARM
• Windows Server (2012 R2 or later versions)
• macOS
• Linux (in .deb or .rpm format)

On Windows, the Teams application requires the .NET Framework (4.5 or later).

! Attention! The Windows 7 operating system no longer receives support from Microsoft as of January 14^th, 2020 (more information  here).

2. Browsers:

The web version of Microsoft Teams only works on the following browsers:

• Microsoft Edge (RS2 or later versions)
• Google Chrome
• Safari (13.1 or later versions)

The hardware requirements for Microsoft Teams are:

• Processor: Minimum 1.6 Ghz (or more), 2 cores
