“Titu Maiorescu” University publishes the Methodology regarding the process of setting up and choosing the management structures and functions of “Titu Maiorescu” University for 2020-2024.

The process of setting up and choosing the management structures and functions is carried out in accordance with the Timetable for setting up and choosing the management structures and functions of UTM for the period 2020-2024 presented in ANNEX 1.

Candidates for a management position will enclose to the application or in the application file, in the case of the Rector, a statement on their own responsibility that shows that they are not in any of the following two situations: they do not violate the provisions of art. 130 paragraph (1) b) of Law no. 1/2011, with the subsequent amendments and addenda, and were not disciplined or sanctioned for deviations from academic ethics and/or good conduct in scientific research, during the last 2 years. The statement is presented in ANNEX 2.

The applications for the position of Department Director, member of the Department Council and members of the Faculty Council are submitted to the commission of the faculty which is organizing the elections and public competitions. The application form is set out in ANNEX 3.

The nominations for the position of Rector are submitted to the Central Commission set-up for the purpose of organizing the elections and competitions of the UTM. The application form is set out in ANNEX 4.

In the general meeting of the faculty members organized for the purpose of electing the members of the faculty council, the dean requests proposals for candidatures for the Senate, within the limits of the number of seats in the Senate assigned to the faculty, as per the numbers provided in ANNEX 5.
