The Faculty of Nursing – Tg Jiu is the newest faculty of the Titu Maiorescu University, being authorized in July 2015. The faculty functions at the extension of Tîrgu Jiu University of Titu Maiorescu, in the Oltenia area there is a need to establish a faculty profile , Demanded by the labor market.

The study program is for a period of 4 years, 240 ECTS credits, the frequency of which is in accordance with the requirements of the European Union.

The curricula and disciplinary programs have been developed in an interdisciplinary perspective, in line with national and international standards of higher education.

The teaching and research mission of the General Medical Faculty – Targu Jiu is to promote education and academic performance in the training of competitive graduates on the labor market both within and outside the European Union.

We aim to ensure that our future graduates know and fully assume the professional role of the nurse, provide effective communication skills with patients and their families, be a good educator, care provider, caregiver and mediator, Finding the most appropriate way of care that every patient needs.

Although it is a newly established faculty, Titu Maiorescu University strives for the establishment of a highly educated, highly recognized professional body dedicated to this faculty.
