Due to the epidemiological situation created by the spread of Coronavirus (COVID 19) infection cases and taking into account the Senate’s Decision no. 39 of 25th February 2020, the Board of Directors of UTM decided by Decision no. 139 from 27th February 2020 to suspend, for a period of 14 days, starting with 27th February 2020, all the practical activities that take place within the hospitals, institutes, specialized outpatients, polyclinics, medical offices, the Private Clinical Assistance Center of Dental Medicine, etc., ongoing in the study programs of the Faculties of Medicine and Dental Medicine.

The theoretical academic activities (the courses) that are scheduled in the amphitheaters/rooms within the sanitary units listed above, will be held in the amphitheaters of the University’s buildings, according to a new timetable which will be displayed at the faculties’ noticeboards and on the University’s website.

Students, professors, auxiliary and non-teaching staff, returning to the country in the last 14 days after a trip to the regions where cases of Coronavirus (COVID 19) infections have been confirmed, will remain at home for the next 14 days, will avoid contact with other persons and will adopt the conduct provided by the authorized institutions.

The absence of students and professors in this situation will be motivated and missed courses are caught up later, without additional costs.

The trips to the north of Italy in the regions of Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont are mainly mentioned.
