Following the elections for the position of Rector of Titu Maiorescu University (TMU) in Bucharest held on 17th June 2020, the Central Commission for the Organization of Elections and Public Competitions has recorded the following results:
- Total number of persons entitled to vote: 321;
- Total number of voters who went to the polls: 294;
- Number of valid votes cast: 289;
- Minimum number of valid “in favour” votes cast necessary for the election of the rector: 108;
- The number of valid “in favour” votes cast for the candidate Professor COCHIOR Daniel, PhD: 130;
- The number of valid “in favour” votes cast for the candidate Professor GHEORGHIU Dumitru, PhD: 102;
According to the approved elections’ calendar, the validation of the elections’ results for the position of Rector will be made in the meeting of the TMU Senate on 25th June 2020.
