International Lectures – Circle of Constitutional Law
Dear TMU students,
We are delighted to invite you at the Circle of Constitutional Law organized within the Faculty of Law at Titu Maiorescu University. This visit is organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project 2023-1-RO01-KA171-HED-000142355.
The course will take place on Monday, 13th of May between 12 pm – 2pm in building M, room M 113.
Our special guests are Prof. Edna Raquel Hogemann and Assoc. Prof. Oswaldo Lima Jr. from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
The topics of the International Lectures are:
- DEMOCRACY UNDER DISCUSSION: ELECTORAL PROCESSES IN BRAZIL AND ROMANIA – COMPARING PRACTICES, CHALLENGES, AND PUBLIC POLICIES
- ENSURING PARTICIPATION: EXPLORING PUBLIC POLICIES AND CITIZEN RIGHTS IN THE ELECTORAL CONTEXT OF BRAZIL
About Edna Raquel Hogemann
- Edna Raquel Hogemann is the Dean of the Center for Legal Sciences (Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro) and a Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Course in Law (Master’s), coordinator of the Group of Human Rights and Social Transformation Research (CNPq), member of the Law & Society Association and of the International Alliance of Jurists and Economists (France).
About Oswaldo Lima Jr.
- Doctorate in Law from University Estácio de Sá, postdoctoral degree from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Associate Professor at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
