DOCTORAL SCHOOL IN THE FIELD OF LAW – PRESENTATION

The mission of the Doctoral School of Law is to train researchers and specialists with advanced competencies in the field of legal sciences, capable of producing original and relevant research for the development of law.

Since its establishment, the Doctoral School – field of Law has aimed to achieve three objectives: readjusting the curriculum, drafting and presenting scientific research reports in accordance with international quality standards, and preparing doctoral theses in a new format. At the same time, strengthening an interdisciplinary doctoral school, harmonizing the Bachelor’s – Master’s – Doctoral study programs, and improving the quality of education and scientific research have occupied a central place among the strategic objectives of the Doctoral School – field of Law.

The doctoral program is structured in relation to the expected learning outcomes and aims to develop the following competencies:

  • advanced scientific research competencies;
  • capacity for critical analysis and doctrinal synthesis;
  • skills for drafting and defending an original scientific approach;
  • integration into the academic and professional community.

The learning outcomes are correlated with Level 8 of the NQF/EQF and with the relevant occupational standards.
