A special moment during the Opening Ceremony of the 2026–2027 Academic Year was the virtual participation of two distinguished international partners: Leonardo Andrade, Director for Europe at QS Quacquarelli Symonds, and Ewelina Widerska, Coordinator of the Q-Helix Alliance and representative of WSB University, Poland.
Leonardo Andrade joined us to celebrate an important achievement for Titu Maiorescu University: the award of an overall 4 QS Stars rating, following a rigorous, multidimensional evaluation. This recognition reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to academic quality and institutional development.
Ewelina Widerska’s participation highlighted the importance of the Q-Helix Alliance as a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, international exchange and the development of new opportunities for students, academic staff and researchers across partner institutions.
We extend our sincere gratitude to both guests for joining us on this special occasion and for their continued support. Their participation throughout the ceremony contributed to the celebration of a new academic year and a new chapter for the Titu Maiorescu University community.
Their presence reaffirmed our strong commitment to academic excellence, quality, internationalisation and the development of meaningful international partnerships that create lasting opportunities for our entire academic community.
We look forward to strengthening these valuable partnerships, exploring new avenues for collaboration and embarking on the next chapters of our shared journey.
A new academic year. New connections. New opportunities. A new beginning for the Titu Maiorescu University community.
