Titu Maiorescu University celebrates second consecutive award at ERACON 2026, winning 2nd Prize in ERASMUS Poster Design Competition

Titu Maiorescu University proudly announces its successful participation in two significant international events held in Cyprus from June 22 to June 25, 2026: the Erasmus Staff Training in Nicosia, hosted by the University of Cyprus and the ERACON 2026 Congress in Paphos.

These prominent international events provided Titu Maiorescu University with a valuable opportunity to engage with higher education professionals and institutional leaders from across Europe and beyond. Through diverse working sessions and academic panels, we delved into critical themes such as Internationalization at Home, Inclusion and Diversity, the outlook for the next Erasmus+ Programme (2028-2034), the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI), the integration of AI in mobility management, etc. Complementing these discussions, Titu Maiorescu University actively participated in targeted University to University (U2U) Meetings to foster new partnerships and engaged through the ERASMUS GO-Exchange Education Fair for extensive inter-institutional networking and collaboration.

The primary focus remained on exchanging best practices in educational mobility, enhancing inter-institutional cooperation and developing new strategies to optimize the Erasmus+ framework for both students and academic staff.

A notable achievement during the ERACON Congress was the winning of the 2nd prize in the prestigious ERASMUS Poster Design Competition. This marks the second consecutive year Titu Maiorescu University has been recognized with an award at this conference, having won the 1st prize last year. This consistent success powerfully reaffirms Titu Maiorescu University’s innovative approach and creative commitment to effectively promoting Erasmus+ mobilities and fostering European cooperation.

Titu Maiorescu University extends its sincere appreciation to the University of Cyprus and the ERACON organizing committee for hosting such insightful and highly productive events. The invaluable knowledge gained and connections forged during these sessions will significantly contribute to UTM’s ongoing strategic objectives in internationalization.

Titu Maiorescu University remains fully committed to expanding its international academic network, driving educational innovation and fostering excellence through continuous cross-border cooperation.
