CONDUCT OF THE ADMISSION EXAM
  1. The admission exam is held in person, on the same date established for each admission session, and under the same conditions for all candidates applying to the same study program.
  2. The admission committee of the faculty shall post, on the faculty notice boards and/or on the admission pages on the website www.utm.ro, the anonymized lists showing the distribution of candidates in exam rooms, at least 24 hours before the exam date. The admission committee may also assign candidates to exam rooms via the online admission portal and, once this is completed, may send an informational email to each candidate for their designated exam room, through the portal.
  3. Candidates are required to verify the accuracy of the data listed and report any inconsistencies to the admission committee through the faculty secretariats. No changes may be made to the posted lists once the exam has begun.
  4. Entry into exam rooms is allowed one hour before the exam starts, based on the candidate’s identification document and the posted room list. Entry after the official start time of the written exam is not permitted.
  5. Candidates are strictly prohibited from entering the exam room with any information or communication devices.
  6. Candidates are seated in alphabetical order, with at least one empty seat between them, according to the exam labels placed on the desks.
  7. The chair of the faculty admission committee hands the envelope containing the question booklets/lists to the room supervisor, who opens the envelope in front of all candidates in the room, after allowing any candidate who wishes to check the integrity of the seal and signature. Candidates not present at the moment the envelope is opened lose the right to take the exam.
  8. The exam lasts up to 3 hours, starting from the moment all subjects have been distributed. The room supervisor clearly indicates and announces the start and end times of the exam.
  9. During the exam, any communication between candidates or between candidates and supervisors is strictly forbidden.
  10. Candidates who violate the prohibition in paragraph (5) or who attempt to cheat are removed from the exam room, their paper is graded with 1 (one), and they are barred from applying to any study program at TMU for two academic years. The room supervisor records this in the candidate list and draws up a report signed by both the supervisor and the candidate; if the candidate refuses to sign, a second supervisor signs instead.
  11. Candidates may leave the room temporarily for physiological needs only if accompanied by a supervisor; this does not extend the exam duration.
  12. Permanent departure from the exam room is allowed only after at least 30 minutes have passed from the moment the subjects were communicated, and only after the candidate has submitted their answer sheet and signed the room’s candidate list.
  13. Answer sheets must be completed without erasures or corrections that could lead to misinterpretation, and according to the following rules:
    a) Candidates must use a dark blue pen; pens with erasable ink are forbidden.
    b) To mark the chosen correct answer(s)—including cases where two answers are correct—the corresponding box/boxes must be marked with an X, and the remaining boxes must be left blank.
  14. Candidates who wish to rewrite their answer sheet may do so only within the allotted exam time. They will receive a new answer sheet, and the initial one will be immediately voided by the supervisor and returned to the committee, without being considered.
  15. Draft work may only be written on faculty‑stamped sheets provided by the supervisors.
  16. When the exam time expires, candidates must stop writing and remain seated until called individually to submit their answer sheet. They must present their ID and sign the room list upon submission.
  17. When collecting the answer sheets, the room supervisor verifies whether each sheet has been filled out correctly. If a question has no box marked or multiple boxes marked, the supervisor cancels that answer by drawing a red horizontal line through it, in the presence of the candidate.
  18. The room supervisor signs the answer sheet in the sealed corner after verifying the accuracy of all candidate information: name, exam ID number, form header, and grid symbol.
  19. Candidates are forbidden from leaving the room with the question booklet/list or any exam materials provided by the supervisors.
  20. Draft sheets must be submitted together with the answer sheet and will be destroyed afterwards.
  21. During the submission of answer sheets, at least three candidates must remain in the room.
  22. The grading key is posted in a visible place in the admission building during the exam.
  23. Appeals regarding the content of the written questions or the grading keys must be submitted to the faculty’s admission committee within 2 hours after the written exam has ended. After this deadline, it is no longer possible to contest the content of the written questions or the grading keys.
  24. The results of the admission exam will be uploaded to the admission portal by the admission committee. Within the portal, the provisional ranking will be generated, checked, and validated by the faculty’s admission committee. Once the provisional ranking is validated, the admission exam results are automatically sent to the candidate’s email address registered in the portal.
  25. Appeals regarding the results of the written exams (score/grade) must be sent to the faculty’s email address (medicina.dentara@univ.utm.ro) within 24 hours from the moment the results are posted (starting from the date and time of publication). After this deadline, it is no longer possible to contest the results of the written exams or the method used to calculate the general admission average. Candidates may contest only their own results. The appellants must specify in their appeal the name listed on their birth certificate, the father’s initial(s) (or the mother’s initial(s) if the father is unknown), and their given name(s).

How to connect to the portal?

The connection is made by filling out the fields in the registration page: email address, password. After creating the account, you will receive a confirmation email. Without this confirmation, you will not be able to connect to the admission portal.

After connecting, you can enroll in the study programs you are interested in, by selecting the faculty, the level of studies (Bachelor/ Master) and the study program. Please follow the steps in the portal, being constantly informed by email about the status of your application.

What is the structure of the portal?

The admission portal is divided into 2 sections: Profile and Enrollment.

The Profile section is divided into 3 subsections:

  1. Personal data, where you will fill in the general data, the place of birth, the permanent residence, the details of your identity document(s), the citizenship(s).
  2. High school education, where you will fill in the information about the high school that issued your diploma.
  3. Higher education, if applicable, where you will fill in the information about current or graduated higher education studies.

The Enrollment section will contain all the enrollments you made, which is further divided into the following subsections:

  1. Enrollment details: here you will be able to see the citizenship declared for studies and other options specific to the study program.
  2. International Relations: this section is dedicated to the candidates who will submit their application to the International Relations Department, being requested specific information.
  3. Documents: here you will be able to upload the documents from the automatically generated list. The documents automatically generated by the portal, based on your previously entered data, can be digitally signed directly in the portal (by drawing the signature in the related section)
  4. Fees: after the Secretariat of the Faculty will validate your application, you will be able to make the online payment of the admission fee. If you are declared admitted, also in this section you will be able to make the online payment of the tuition fee.
  5. Correspondence: in this section you will be able to keep in touch with the Secretariat of the Faculty. You will receive an email notification whenever you receive a new message in this section.
  6. Admission information: in this section you will be able to see the admission calendar for enrollment in the selected study program, details about the status of your application, the score obtained in each subject of the admission exam, including your final results.
