SADLY ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF
PROF. UNIV. ZAHARIA CORNELIU-PETRU, PHD
The entire Maiorescian academic community expresses its regret for the passing into eternity of Mr. ZAHARIA Corneliu-Petru, Prof.univ, PHD, founding member of Titu Maiorescu University and the first Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, outstanding personality in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology, professor of high academic standing, valued and respected by generations of students.
Member of the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences, member of the Balkan Medical Union and honorary member of the Romanian Academy of Scientists, Professor Zaharia Corneliu-Petru dedicated his entire life to his medical and academic career, setting up the first clinical unit authorized by the Ministry of Health , for the use in treatment of the results obtained in the field of research of stem growth factors, being a model for all of us, both by his professional value and by his human qualities.
We will forever keep him in our memory!
