ADMISSION CONTEST

Admission is based on educational programs and forms of education, in descending order of the general grades obtained by candidates for the admission contest, within the limit of the schooling number approved by ARACIS for the study program and the respective education form.

For the undergraduate program of Informatics, the subjects of the competition are INFORMATICS and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS. The subjects will be elaborated on the basis of the curricula in force since 2011, at the Informatics discipline, grades IX-XI, the specialization Mathematics-Informatics (nonintensive Informatics) and at the discipline of Information Technology and Communications, grades IX-X, studied in the common base, to all branches, profiles and specializations. For all these subjects and years of study, all alternative manuals approved by MEN are valid.

The contest admission consists of completing a 20-question grid test. Each question has four variants of answer, of which one answer is correct. Each question that marks the correct answer and only the correct one is scored with 0.5 points. The score obtained turns into a grade. The score obtained in the grid test must be at least 5 (five). When determining the average grade at the admission contest, the grade obtained in the baccalaureate exam is taken into account. The share of the score obtained in the grid test is 75% of the overall admission grade, the grade obtained in the baccalaureate exam having a weight of 25%. The overall grade may not be less than 5 (five).

The duration of the contest is 2 hours.
