CALENDAR FOR ANTI-PLAGIARISM CHECK AND REGISTRATION FOR THE DISSERTATION EXAMINATION

SEPTEMBER 2025 SESSION

MEDICINE IN ENGLISH STUDY PROGRAM

 

To attend the dissertation exam in the SEPTEMBER 2025 session, the following steps will be taken:

 

  1. Anti-plagiarism check

We inform you that in order to obtain the anti-plagiarism report, students will prepare 3 documents: 1. The thesis, 2. The part of personal contribution, 3. The thesis summary. Documents will be uploaded exclusively through your Microsoft 365 institutional account (@s.utm.ro) Microsoft Forms platform

This verification is mandatory!

Document submission period: 01.08.2025 (08.00) – 20.08.2025 (11.59).

Only the bachelor thesis whose percentage of similarity does not exceed 50% for Similarity Coefficient 1 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 5 words or longer, found in the databases) and 10% for Similarity Coefficient 2 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 25 words or longer found in the databases), according to the Methodology for organizing the undergraduate exams in the 2024-2025 academic year.

 

  1. Registration for the dissertation exam

Registration for the bachelor exam is carried out between August 25 and 27, 2025.

The file for registration to the bachelor exam must include:

  • Birth certificate – legalized copy/copy in accordance with the original (in the student’s file)
  • Marriage certificate – legalized copy/copy in accordance with the original (if applicable) (in the student’s file)
  • Copy of C I / passport (in the student’s file)
  • Original baccalaureate diploma and legalized copy/copy in accordance with the original (in the student’s file)
  • 3 photos ¾ color non-adhesive photo paper
  • Liquidation form
  • GDPR form
  • Application for enrollment in the license exam
  • Declaration regarding the originality of the undergraduate thesis
  • Report signed by the coordinator of the bachelor thesis
  • The printed license thesis + electronic support (memory stick)
  • The receipt certifying the payment of the license fee in the amount of 2.500 lei

The dissertation exam will take place between September 2nd and 4th, 2025

PROCEDURE

FOR ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING BACHELOR’S EXAMS/DISSERTATION FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

JULY 2025 SESSION

Stage I – Plagiarism check

♦ First verification – 21.05.2025 – 25.05.2025 – all graduates will upload their bachelor’s thesis for verification, on a platform intended for this purpose.

♦ Second verification – 31.05.2025 – 02.06.2025 – only graduates who uploaded their thesis during the first verification, but who exceed the allowed percentages of similarity. Thesis that were not submitted during the first verification will not be accepted.

All the thesis must be uploaded to the anti-plagiarism checking program!

Only thesis whose similarity percentage does not exceed 50% for Similarity Coefficient 1 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 5 words or longer, found in databases) and 10% for Similarity Coefficient 2 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 25 words or longer, found in databases) will be accepted for registration for the bachelor’s exam.

The first verification of the bachelor’s thesis is free of charge, and for the next/following verifications (if necessary) the graduate must pay a fee of 100 lei.

 

Stage II – Registration for the bachelor’s/dissertation exam

Registration is carried out between June 09 – 20, 2025. Only students who do not exceed the similarity percentages described in stage I can register for the bachelor’s/dissertation exam.

Registration is carried out based on the following documents:

  1. application form (from the secretariat);
  2. high school diploma, original and copy (front and back)
  3. birth certificate, true copy;
  4. marriage certificate (if applicable), true copy;
  5. any other document attesting to the change of name (if applicable), true copy;
  6. copy of ID/passport;
  7. certificate of linguistic competence for a widely used international language (English or French) – issued by Titu Maiorescu University
  8. dissertation thesis, printed and on electronic media (memory stick), accompanied by the report of its scientific coordinator and the Similarity Report generated by the anti-plagiarism program following the verification of the thesis;
  9. candidate’s own declaration regarding the originality of the content of the dissertation thesis (from the secretariat);
  10. three color photographs, ¾ format;
  11. liquidation form (from the secretariat);
  12. information note and consent form for the processing of personal data (GDPR) (from the secretariat)
  13. proof of payment of the dissertation exam fee in the amount of 2500 lei;

If the documents mentioned in points 2 – 6 are in the graduate’s file, they are no longer submitted with the registration file.

 

Stage III – Conducting the bachelor’s/dissertation exam
