PROCEDURE

FOR ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING BACHELOR’S EXAMS/DISSERTATION FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

JULY 2025 SESSION

Stage I – Plagiarism check

First verification – 21.05.2025 – 25.05.2025 – all graduates will upload their bachelor’s thesis for verification, on a platform intended for this purpose.

Second verification – 31.05.2025 – 02.06.2025 – only graduates who uploaded their thesis during the first verification, but who exceed the allowed percentages of similarity. Thesis that were not submitted during the first verification will not be accepted.

All the thesis must be uploaded to the anti-plagiarism checking program!

Only thesis whose similarity percentage does not exceed 50% for Similarity Coefficient 1 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 5 words or longer, found in databases) and 10% for Similarity Coefficient 2 (determines what percentage of the document contains phrases of 25 words or longer, found in databases) will be accepted for registration for the bachelor’s exam.

The first verification of the bachelor’s thesis is free of charge, and for the next/following verifications (if necessary) the graduate must pay a fee of 100 lei.

 

Stage II – Registration for the bachelor’s/dissertation exam

Registration is carried out between June 09 – 20, 2025. Only students who do not exceed the similarity percentages described in stage I can register for the bachelor’s/dissertation exam.

Registration is carried out based on the following documents:

  1. application form (from the secretariat);
  2. high school diploma, original and copy (front and back)
  3. birth certificate, true copy;
  4. marriage certificate (if applicable), true copy;
  5. any other document attesting to the change of name (if applicable), true copy;
  6. copy of ID/passport;
  7. certificate of linguistic competence for a widely used international language (English or French) – issued by Titu Maiorescu University
  8. dissertation thesis, printed and on electronic media (memory stick), accompanied by the report of its scientific coordinator and the Similarity Report generated by the anti-plagiarism program following the verification of the thesis;
  9. candidate’s own declaration regarding the originality of the content of the dissertation thesis (from the secretariat);
  10. three color photographs, ¾ format;
  11. liquidation form (from the secretariat);
  12. information note and consent form for the processing of personal data (GDPR) (from the secretariat)
  13. proof of payment of the dissertation exam fee in the amount of 2500 lei;

If the documents mentioned in points 2 – 6 are in the graduate’s file, they are no longer submitted with the registration file.

 

Stage III – Conducting the bachelor’s/dissertation exam

  1. Sample 2 – presentation and defense of the bachelor’s thesis

– Oral test – 02.07.2025
