Pharmacy Computer Science and Mathematics Psychology Economics Law Communication For EU candidates the tuition fee can be paid in 3 installments. Step 1. – Registration 1. ONLINE REGISTRATION The candidates can start registering online at the following link https://www.utm.ro/en/admission-portal/ !Make sure you have available all the documents requested before starting the online registration! The candidates’ files submitted online are subject to verification by the Department of International Relations. If the file is complete you will receive an electronic message that your file has been validated. If the file is incomplete, you will be notified for correction/completion of the file, following which you will add the missing documents online. Once the file has been validated, the candidates must pay the admission fees (see below) in order to be registered for the admission exam. 2. REGISTRATION AT THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS The department’s working hours with the public are as follows: Monday to Friday – 9.00 – 13.00 During this time, priority will be given to candidates who come to submit the files with the registration documents. Any kind of requests regarding information about the registration and admission can be addressed online to the email address international@univ.utm.ro. !Make sure you have available all the documents requested before coming for registration! If the file is incomplete, you will be informed for correction/completion, following which you will add the missing documents to the file. We request 2 files containing all the original documents requested in legalized translations, apostille /authenticated, and one file with simple copies of the documents. The 3 files must have written on their cover the following information: – Full name of the candidate (from birth certificate), – Current last name/surname (after marriage, adoption, change on request, if applicable), – Study programme for which they apply – E-mail address of the candidate – Mobile phone number of the candidate Once the file has been validated, the candidates must pay the admission fees (see below) in order to be registered for the admission exam. Step 2. – Payment of the admission fees The fees can be paid in RON at the Cashier Desk (Dambovnicului 22, District 4, Bucharest, next to the Department of International Relations) or in the university’s bank account for RON: RO090BTRL04301202N01816XX, Banca Transilvania RO49RNCB0546029228350001, Banca Comerciala Romana For bank payment, please include at details of payment the following information: the candidate’s name, the name of the fee (admission fee) and the faculty you register to (e.g. Medicine in English). One copy of the payment proof is added to each file sent for registration. Step 3. – Confirmation of registration After validating the 2 files with the hard copies, DRI (Department of International Relations) will send one file with the hard copies to the Secretary of the Faculty. Step 4. – Participate in the admission exam The admission exam will be online and it will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform. The validated candidates will receive the login details from the IT Department of Titu Maiorescu University. The admission is made in descending order of the general averages obtained by the candidates in the admission contest, within the limit of the approved available places. Step 5. – Applying for the document for recognition of international studies at the Romanian Ministry of Education The candidates that pass the admission exam at Titu Maiorescu University must have their studies recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Education: For the admitted candidates, the Department of International Relations will apply for recognition of studies at the Romanian Ministry of Education, based on the documents provided by the candidates in the enrolment – step 1. Within 3 days after receiving the admission exam results, the candidates must pay the fee for preparing and submitting the file to the Ministry. One copy of the payment proof is added to the file at the Department of International Relations. Step 6. – Paying the tuition fee for the first year of studies 1. EU CANDIDATES Candidates that are citizens of EU States, EEA and Swiss Confederation, as well as Romanian citizens with studies abroad or other education systems operating on the territory of Romania who have been admitted in the July session are required to pay at least the first installment of the tuition fee until 30 AUGUST 2022. Otherwise, the candidate will not be matriculated in the first year of study. The students admitted in the September session, are required to pay at least the first installment of the tuition fee until 30 SEPTEMBER 2022. The payment of the tuition fee can be made in full at the due date of the first installment. 2. NON-EU CANDIDATES Candidates citizens of non-EU States who have been admitted in the July session are required to pay the tuition fee in full, in order to obtain a residency visa in Romanian for the whole academic year 2022-2023 until 30 AUGUST 2022. The students admitted in the September session are required to pay the tuition fee in full until 30 SEPTEMBER 2022. Otherwise, the candidate will not be matriculated in the first year of study. 3. Other information REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS Candidates should have the study diplomas recognized by the Romanian National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED) of the Romanian Ministry of Education. For the candidates who don’t have the certificate from CNRED, Titu Maiorescu University will submit the file to the CNRED for obtaining the recognition of studies. Failure to obtain the recognition of studies from CNRED is the legal reason for the University not to do the matriculation of the candidate! 1. High school diploma/ Baccalaureate diploma/ Certificate of passing high school exam (or its equivalent) * List of international high school diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Education in Romania – here – 2 original certified translations in Romanian 6. Additional study documents: – 2 copies for documents issued in Romanian, English, French language – 2 original certified translation in Romanian for other language 7. School transcript of records for all high school years, with subjects and marks/points obtained – 2 original certified translation in Romanian for other language 8. Universitatea Titu Maiorescu va depune dosarul la DGRIAE-RP pentru obținerea aprobării de şcolarizare. Respingerea cererii de recunoaștere de către DGRIAE-RP (candidatul nu primește aprobare de școlarizare de la DGRIAE-RP) este motiv legal pentru ca Universitatea să nu înmatriculeze studentul respectiv. 1.
